A house for the things lived, loved, and made visible.
Lauren & Me is one roof over a slow practice: the offerings and objects Lauren keeps in her own days. Built by two people and sent out when something is ready.
She began in the Netherlands: flat light, low sky, a country you can see the edge of. She doesn’t live there now. She doesn’t, in the ordinary sense, live anywhere.
Home, for Lauren, is less an address than a way of arriving. It is wherever she sets her things down a while: a borrowed kitchen, a strip of coast, the slow middle of a season. She does not go back to it. She carries it.
And what she carries is the practice itself: the cloth and the clay, the small daily rites, the long attention paid to an unremarkable afternoon. Lauren & Me is that life, set down where you can reach it, not a version arranged to be looked at, but the one she is already inside.
She is making it with Mika. She keeps the field; Mika lays the quiet workings beneath it, so that what she lives can travel to you, and arrive still itself.
Lauren brings the field.
She lives this rather than performing it: the rituals, the materials, the pace.
Mika builds the systems that let it become form.
Behind the scenes, Mika designs and runs the platform so what Lauren makes can reach you cleanly.
